Plath & Company understands every residence is unique. That's why our Home Services is designed to offer an ongoing, customized program that helps preserve the aesthetic and value of your home.

Our comprehensive program eliminates the burden of servicing and maintaining your home, no matter its age or original builder. This begins with a personal session between you and our Home Services project manager, reviewing the management requirements of your home. Any special projects or requests that tailor this plan around your lifestyle and needs can be included. Home Services has long-standing relationships with our subcontractors and other vendors, ensuring your work is accomplished by only highly-qualified and first-rate tradespeople.

Home Services keeps a detailed record of your home and any services provided, as well as a calendar of scheduled maintenance that may need to take place throughout the year. Beyond that, if your gutters need cleaning, cabinets adjusted, appliances repaired, lighting fixtures replaced, fixing of dripping faucets or even help hanging an auction-won antique mirror, you can be assured that Home Services is just a phone call to Plath & Company.

Frequently asked questions

What is included?
Plath & Company can provide integrated personalized services including, but not limited to:

  • Visits to perform seasonal preventative maintenance tasks, special requests, custom services and emergencies.
  • Conduct ongoing checkups and prepare recommended action lists at every visit.
  • Service for any repairs needed between visits.
  • Specialty projects such as preparing your seasonal home, putting together a jungle gym for your family, updating kitchen or baths, or anything that may be included on your "honey do" list.

What happens first?
Our Home Services project manager will arrange to meet with you and explain the program in detail. After evaluation of areas of your home that you would like covered, a proposal is prepared for your review. On acceptance, services can begin as soon as necessary.

What is done at each visit?
Based on our analysis, specific areas of your residence will receive attention based on the season in which the services are scheduled, ensuring that everything is covered at least once per year. Plath & Company will also address special requests needed due to your home's customized nature.

What if something happens between visits?
Our customers get priority when a problem occurs. Simply call, and we will inspect and take care of any home emergency.

Why do I need this service if my house is new?
New homes can remain "newer" longer with regular maintenance. In fact, manufacturers of the equipment and appliances in your new residence requires routine services to keep their warranty valid. The best time to start with our Home Services is after the home is constructed, and the next best time is before deterioration incurs due to inadequate care or improper maintenance. Life may bring about other needs such as emergencies and specialty projects, all of which our Home Services can accommodate.
